Much has changed since The Valentinos bust onto the Sydney music scene in 2005.
Firstly the band’s name; a clash with 50's doo-wop artist Bobby Womack encouraged the band to become Lost Valentinos.
Secondly their sound; which has matured from jilted dance-punk to psychedelica tainted indie-dance.
One thing that has not changed is the bands ability to hook up with the big names. After having early EPs produced by The Presets and Pnau, Lost Valentinos have called on Ewan Pearson (The Rapture, Junior Boys, M83) to produce their debut album Cities of Gold.
You can sample the album with Midnights available as a free download here.
You can also download the Knife Machine remix of Serio from http://www.lostvalentinos.com/
Cities of Gold should be out this month.
