This week Mercury Rev have released two brand new albums the magnificent Midnight Snowflake and its instrumental companion Strange Attractor.As previously mentioned Strange Attractor is being made available as a free download: signup to the bands mailing list for access (here).

Have to say, 'Strange Attractor' hasn't really grabbed me so far. Bits are good, but, it does wander into Muzak quite a bit.
Fortunately, Snowflake Midnight (the one you have to pay for) is much, much better. I might get round to posting a proper review at some point.
