Thom Yorke and Banksy

Thom Yorke has a new single: Felling Pulled Apart By Horses, is a radical reworking of the same 2001 track that spawned Radiohead's Reckoner.

The B-side to Felling Pulled Apart... is The Hollow Earth a glitchy song which Thom describes as a bass menace that developed from Eraser period leftovers.

The single is available now on 12 inch vinyl via w.a.s.t.e and will be in all the usual download stores from October 6th.

Ahead of this a video for The Hollow Earth has popped up on the web. The video directed by Raymond Salvatore Harmon couples Yorke's blips with images of London and retina burning flashes of Banksy's subversive graphics.

Björk and Yorke team up to save Iceland.

Björk and Thom Yorke are teaming up to save Iceland, no not from the current economic crisis but from the irreparable damage the Icelandic aluminium smelting industry is having on the country’s stunning environment.

On October 20th, One Little Indian will release the collaboration titled Nattura, the song it is claimed will highlight the growing movement to reclaim the country’s natural resources from big business and pollution.

Radiohead: from the Basement to Downunder?

This week saw the release of the itunes exclusive Radiohead In Rainbows - From the Basement recorded in producer Nigel Godrich's little old basement. Grab it on itunes for some emotional 'alone time' with you and the boys. 

When Thom Yorke gazes directly at you in Nude with his lazy eye right down the camera it is hard not not be moved. The intensity in Videotape will probably make you cry, check it out here. This video collection reminds us of why we love Radiohead and what stunning live performances they dish out time and time again.
