Bawley (Hearts) 2012: Top 5 Covers of the Year

5. Elmo - I'm Elmo and I Know It (LMFAO)

Kids look at these crayons. The little red Muppet shakes his fur all over the LMFAO's hit. This is what YouTube  was made for.  (link)

4. Deep Sea Arcade - Let Forever Be (The Chemical Brothers)

Like a Version is pretty much the best thing on triple j breakfast these days. On this Friday morning Deep Sea Arcade turned up and played a near perfect version of this Chemical Brothers classic. (link)

3. Chet Faker  - No Diggity (Blackstreet)

Blackstreet's No Diggity has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. This Chet Faker version gives the song and me more cred.  It has also given me a great excuse to pull on the white overalls and watch the original song's classic 90's world film clip. (link)

2. The Darkness - Street Spirit (Radiohead)

The Darkness have been playing this one live for a few years it finally got a recorded release on their comeback album Hot Cakes. Yes is every bit as over the tip as you would imagine. (link)

FAAAAAAAAADE OUT AGAINNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!111eleven!!!!!!

1. Alt-J () - Still D.R.E. / Slow (Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg / Kylie Minogue)

'We've taken the instrumental from Still D.R.E. by Dr D.R.E and Snoop Dogg and over the top we are going to be singing Slow by Kylie Minogue'

Mind = Blown.
